Arlington, the 7th Biggest city in Texas as well as the 50th-largest city in United States, is a major transportation hub. It is situated in Tarrant County, here between cities of Dallas and Fort Worth, in the United States.
The Texas selected site for new station in 1875, which became known as Arlington Station when it opened in 1876. The city of Arlington, which surrounds the area, was founded in 1884. Arlington College first opened its doors in 1895; it would later be renamed the University of Texas at Arlington in 1966.

Arlington voters approved a new football stadium for Dallas Cowboys in 2004 that was completed in 2009. The stadium cost $650 million and was completed in 2009. In terms of capacity, it is the 3rd biggest stadium in the National Football League, with a capacity of 80,000 people. Arlington, which is only five miles from Dallas or Fort Worth International Airport, continues to be a major transportation hub for the surrounding area.
